Welcome to Middlebury! Initiative
Middlebury strives to be a welcoming community that offers a vibrant community for all to live, work, and grow in! We understand that any time someone moves to a new community, it can be difficult initially to meet new people and learn more about your new home. The Town of Middlebury, collaborating with its Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Working Group, has established the Welcome to Middlebury! Initiative to help our newest residents feel welcome and a part of the town and broader community by offering an opportunity to meet with one of our friendly Welcome Ambassadors!
Our Welcome Ambassador volunteers would be happy to meet up with you and grab a coffee or a bite to eat to learn more about your journey to Middlebury and share with you the many exciting ways that you can learn more about Middlebury and how you might feel comfortable becoming involved in the community.
Whether it’s answering some of your questions about housing and travel, offering suggestions on the best places to get outdoors or shop, or brainstorming how to meet new people from across the Middlebury community, we would be more than happy to introduce you to the town and all that it has to offer you! And of course you are always welcome to learn more on your own about the Town and its community through our website if you'd prefer!
