Trail Around Middlebury (TAM)
The Middlebury Area Land Trust (MALT) is a local nonprofit that works to preserve open and scenic lands in and around the Middlebury community. The conservation goals of the organization has led to the establishment of nearly 30 miles of trails and thousands of acres of conserved open space.
Included in their work is the Trail Around Middlebury, or TAM, which is an 18-mile footpath managed by MALT that circles the village area of Middlebury, linking with a variety of public and conserved private lands.
Open year-round and free to the public, the trails and open spaces supported by MALT offer a wonderful local opportunity for residents and visitors alike to easily access the outdoors and spend time in nature!
