Emergency Management Bulletin
August 9, 2023

Through Tuesday, the police department has distributed over 500 cases of water (about 1100 gallons). The distribution point is at the police garage just past the police station on Lucius Shaw Lane. Signs will direct you to the garage.

There is still over 1,200 cases of water in store. The garage is open from 8 am until 10 pm, it is primarily self-serve, so please help yourself. If you need assistance you may call 802-388-3191 or stop at the Mobile Command Truck parked next to the police station. Water will be available until the Rte 116 water main opens or supplies are exhausted.

Police Station Offices

The police offices are still undergoing flood remediation which will continue until next week. The community room, which suffered the most damage, will not re-open until the flooring can be replaced.

All police services are otherwise operating normally. If you need to stop in, go to the Mobile Command Post truck parked next to the police station.
