South Street Waterline Improvements - Water Shut-off Notice

The upcoming phase of construction includes replacement of a water valve located on Chipman Park North. To perform this task, there is a scheduled, temporary water shut-off. Properties that will be impacted will receive a paper notification and are listed below. The anticipated shut-off will be on Monday, May 6th and Tuesday May 7th, 2024 between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm. It is recommended that residents draw enough water into jugs, containers, or the bathtub before the listed time above to supply their needs (including drinking water and perhaps some for flushing toilets) during this period.

Once water service is restored to your home, it is recommended that an outdoor faucet (hose bib) or other (tub faucet) should be turned on briefly to flush any potential discoloration or air prior to activities such as consumption, laundry, dishwashing or household cleaning. If water is available from most faucets, but there is noticeably reduced flow (or none) from a particular faucet, remove the screen from that faucet and run the water. Clean the faucet screen and reinstall it. If discoloration continues for more than 30 seconds while flushing, please contact the number below for assistance.

If you have any questions regarding the service interruption, please contact:
