Vermont Disaster Recovery Fund

The Vermont Disaster Recovery Fund is available to help primary residences that were damaged during  the flooding (July, August, December). The VDRF says that residences are eligible for up to $25,000, with checks made out directly to contractors.

The Case Managers will be calling residents to introduce themselves and schedule site visits. You will be asked about your experience and what work has been done since the flood as well as what your unmet needs are.

When the Case Manager visits, they will need to see:
  • Photo ID to verify you are the property owner
  • Insurance documentation that shows the amount paid/appealed/denied
The Case Manager will need a copy of:
  • Receipts for repairs
  • Quotes for repairs needed, if available
  • Photos of the damages
